Dendritic Koru Pounamu pendant (NZ Jade)
Double-sided 41mm diameter by 6mm thick pounamu pendant carved from dark-green kawakawa greenstone (New Zealand jade), bound with adjustable, black cord. The dark-green stone has a unique dendritic stone pattern with a a bit of lighter-green colour transition. It comes from the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand.
In my interpretation, the carved-through koru symbolises new beginning, personal growth, creativity and prosperity. It is the symbol of creation due to its fluid circular shape. Resembling the unfurling frond of the native New Zealand fern, the koru depicts new life and hope as well.
Free tracked economy postage is included to any NZ address, international shipping is a plus (can be added at checkout).
Price is in NZD. AfterPay is available within New Zealand. Alternative payment method: the piece can be reserved with a deposit and the rest can be paid by instalments (time payments) - please email for details.
