41mm diameter by 7mm thick Greenstone pendant carved from the greenish part of a translucent flowerjade pounamu (New Zealand jade / NZ greenstone), bound with adjustable, braided, black cord.. The stone comes from the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. The contemporary concave form gives more translucency for the piece - some photos were taken with backlight.
