Notched Crescent Moon Flowerjade Greenstone

$599.00
Sold

98mm wide by 58mm long by 13mm thick New Zealand Greenstone pendant, hand-carved, bound with adjustable cream cord. This type of Pounamu is called flowerjade from South Island, West Coast of New Zealand. Worldwide the stone is mostly known as jade gemstone. The piece has a unique yellowish-greensih colour transition and natural pattern due to the stone flowerjade qualities.

In my interpretation, the form symbolises the strength of the Moon. It means personal development and unity with family wisdom. It gives protection. The several holes and cuts represent the development through generations, the growing knowledge in the family - both the mother’s and the father’s side.

Free tracked economy postage is included to any NZ address, international shipping is a plus (can be added at checkout).

Price is in NZD. AfterPay is available within New Zealand. Alternative payment method: the piece can be reserved with a deposit and the rest can be paid by instalments (time payments) - please email for details.
