Trinity NZ Jade / Pounamu Pendant - Starlight
51mm diameter by 8mm thick, hand-made pendant carved from three different types of New Zealand jade / pounamu. The outer piece is a dark-green/almost black bowenite; the middle one is a green marsden, and the inner disk is yellowish flower jade. All of them come from the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. The concave form is thicker at outside edge and thinner in the centre. The pendant has adjustable, braided, black cord.
In my interpretation, the three circles of life represent the beginning and the end, the joining of cultures, the bonding of friendship/partnership for life. The three pieces can symbolise trinity, together they create harmony. It can also represent unity in our genealogy (whakapapa) – most of us come from different backgrounds, nevertheless, we are all equal.
Free tracked economy postage is included to any NZ address, international shipping is a plus (can be added at checkout).
Price is in NZD. AfterPay is available within New Zealand. Alternative payment method: the piece can be reserved with a deposit and the rest can be paid by instalments (time payments) - please email for details.
